Junior Auxiliary members aim to warm hearts – and bodies – this winter as they embark on a drive to give away coats this Saturday, Oct. 15, at Three Star Mall. Coats for the Community will be held at the old Bookland location from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. The giveaway, in its 13th year, is open to the entire Warren County community and will include items in a variety of sizes for men, women and all ages of children.Through this giveaway, Junior Auxiliary is able to provide families in Warren County with the coats and other cold-weather wear they might not otherwise have access to, or be able to afford. Anyone who needs a coat is invited to attend.“This service project has gone way beyond just a Junior Auxiliary event,” said project chair Carly Bruce.
