Judge Ross hears court docket

Sentences were handed down Thursday by General Sessions Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Traffic Court. Included in court action:• Marvin Barnes was bound to the grand jury on charges of possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, DUI and driving on a revoked license.• Kimberly Cantrell was bound to the grand jury on charges of possession of drugs, speeding, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license.• Jonathan Scott was bound to the grand jury on the charge of fifth-offense driving on a suspended license.• Johnny Brown, Jacob Taylor and James Mabe were all directed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,109, perform 24 hours public service work, attend DUI School, and lose their driver licenses for one year for DUI.• Patricia Linder was ordered to serve 48 hours and pay $232 for driving without a license.• Cassandra Reed was instructed to serve five days of a six-month sentence and pay $452 for passing worthless checks.• David Jetty was fined $50 for violation of the open container law.• Leonel Garcia was directed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence, pay $352 and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a suspended license.• Trisha Higgins must pay $306 and perform 16 hours public service work for underage consumption of alcohol.• Joshua Barnes must pay $222 for reckless driving.• Tommy White must pay $570 for driving without a license.• Gerald Archuleta must pay $304 for driving without a license or insurance.• Cody Nabors must pay $325 for driving without a license and speeding.• Marco Delgado, Jesus Sanchez and Latreva Perez must pay $152 for driving without a license.Clarification• Jeffery White, a student at Warren County High School, is not the person charged with simple possession and driving on a revoked license.
