Judge Ross hears 59-person docket

A 59-person arraignment docket was heard Thursday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Traffic Court. Included in court action:• Edward Guillen was issued an 11-month, 29-day sentence and must pay $2,101 and lose his driver license for third-offense DUI and second-offense driving on a revoked license.• Aaron Rodriguez was ordered to serve 45 days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $1,651 for second-offense DUI and driving on a revoked license. The sentence will be served in addition to time owed for violation of probation.• Nathaniel Phillips was directed to serve seven days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,109, perform 24 hours public service work and lose his driver license for one year for DUI.• Todd Sharp was issued a six-month judicial diversion and must pay $1,109 and perform 16 hours public service work for simple possession of marijuana and speeding.• Joseph Tucker was directed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence and must pay $352 and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a revoked license.• Jesus Conreras and Tracy Roberts must pay $261 for violation of the open container law.• Rogelio Silva must pay $212 for driving without a license and violation of the child restraint law.• Abraham Arenas, Laura Martinez, Jose Martinez, Marie Narramore, Bryant Hildreth and Melissa Hernandez must pay $152 for driving without a license.• Jose Gomez must pay $172 for driving without a license.• Michael Kimmons was instructed to pay $304 for driving without a license and violation of the insurance law.
