Judge Damron hears court docket

In the final Tuesday of General Sessions court before an interim judge is appointed to replace retiring Judge Larry Ross, Special Judge John Damron of Giles County presided. Included in court action: • Taylor Holton was ordered to serve 30 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence and undergo an alcohol and drug assessment for domestic assault and public intoxication.• Norman Sprague was ordered to serve five days of a six-month sentence for criminal impersonation.• Scarlett Lawrence was handed a six-month probationary sentence for resisting arrest and must serve the balance of a former sentence for violation of probation.• Kenneth Hatchcock was ordered to serve 10 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, perform 24 hours public service work, and make restitution for theft.• Darrell F. Hobbs was bound to the grand jury on the charge of shoplifting.• Shannon Ericsson was bound to the grand jury on charges of theft and forgery.• Juan J. Garza was issued a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $250 plus costs for possession of marijuana.• Martha Hagan was issued a six-month probationary sentence for assault.• Joseph R. Rolen must serve 30 days and have his probation extended by six months for violation of probation.ClarificationEric Webb who lives on Forest Drive and works for TVA is not the Eric Webb charged with manufacture of meth.
