Warren County High School JROTC cadets competed in a taxing day of military-style events Saturday that pushed them to their physical limits.Cadets climbed rope nets, lifted tires, crawled on their stomachs and completed an endurance run in full gear – all while battling unseasonably high temperatures.“They competed in a series of grueling events, and some academic events as well,” said 1SG (Ret.) Tim Howard. “They started out the morning with a physical training test where they were tested on pushups, sit-ups, pull-ups and a two-mile run. Once that was done we gave them a quick breakfast of standard Army meal ready to eat, or MRE, and after that we sent them through a cross fit test.
