A man will serve 60 days in jail for trying to get his girlfriend’s car home.The defendant, Ranico Marcel Johnson, 26, entered guilty pleas before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to charges of evading arrest and driving on a revoked license. He was directed to serve 60 days of a two-year sentence, perform 24 hours public service work, and lose his driver license.His jail time comes after he led lawmen on a chase in his girlfriend’s Chevrolet Malibu. McMinnville police officer Mike Starkey said he noticed Johnson was driving that evening with one headlight.
