Diane Starkey and James Bennett were standing on opposite street corners in front of the Warren County Courthouse on Thursday.

They are both running for the 1st District School Board seat. Their credentials are strong. Both are life-long educators and former school principals. They are knowledgeable and well-liked. 

And both are confident they are going to win!

That's just one of the many races expected to go down to the wire on Election Night. The race for Sheriff appears tight. County Executive and District Attorney General are also believed to be too close to call.
