Believing peace is a fundamental requirement for global well-being, the Isha Foundation on Harrison Ferry Mountain will hold its third World Peace Day this Saturday.Activities are planned from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and admission is free if you bring the ad appearing on this page of today’s newspaper.World Peace Day will feature intellectual discussion, yoga sessions, guided hikes of the 1,400-acre Isha grounds, and diverse entertainment ranging from progressive rock to a circus performer.International speaker and Isha founder Sadhguru will talk about attaining physical, mental and spiritual clarity. His holistic approach has touched the lives of 7 million people from all walks of life and been a highlight of previous World Peace Days.A progressive rock band led by Noa Jordan will provide musical entertainment. The group has been lauded for its lyrics and imaginative instrumentation on its first full-length record “The Lost Boys” released this month.Opera singer Travis Pratt, who appeared on Season 8 of “America’s Got Talent” is also scheduled to take the stage.
