Iraq War veteran eyes House seat

Iraq War veteran Kristopher Gore is entering the race for 43rd District Tennessee House of Representatives.“I’ve served our country in Iraq and now I want to serve this area in the state House,” Gore said. “We need a representative who will take strong stands for public education, for returning military veterans, and do everything possible to help the local economy.”Gore serves in the Tennessee Army National Guard, Troop E 2/278 ACR. He served in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom and was also deployed to help with border security in Yuma, Ariz. Gore’s wife and her family are public school teachers.
