HAMILTON, Ontario (AP) — Two Canadian men have been found guilty of first-degree murder in the killing of a man who had posted his truck for sale online.
The case riveted the nation after the victim's wife made a heart wrenching plea for his return after he went missing.
Jurors found Dellen Millard, 30, and Mark Smich, 28, guilty Friday of planning to kill Tim Bosma, whose remains were found burned beyond recognition.
Bosma, 32, disappeared in 2013 after taking two men for a test drive of a truck he had listed for sale online.
Millard and Smich also face another murder trial next year in the death of a woman.
Millard, an heir to an aviation company, also faces murder charges in the death of his father, which was initially deemed a suicide.
