The Industrial Development Board will receive an extra $100,000 from the county if the proposal passes the full Warren County Commission on Monday night.A motion was made Thursday during a specially called meeting of the Budget and Finance Committee to fund the IDB $250,000 instead of the $150,000 funded last year. The motion passed 3-2 with Commissioners Herschel Wells, Ken Martin and Carl Bouldin voting yes, and Commissioners Terry Bell and Michael Martin voting no.When asked why he voted against the proposal, Martin said, “They have over $3.6 million in the bank with $957,000 they can play with. They acted like they were in the hole. Mark Brown (IDB treasurer) acted like they owned the buildings in that Industrial Park.
