Santa Claus won’t be the only thing arriving at Three Star Mall this Friday.
Also arriving will be the mall’s annual holiday shopping promotion.
For every $50 in purchases from the mall, customers will receive one scratch-off card. Scratch cards will be given out Monday thru Friday at the mall office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The scratch cards will reveal thousands of dollars in mall gift cards, including five $100 gift cards that can be spent at any store in the mall. Additionally, there will be 20 gift cards valued at $50, and 40 gift cards valued at $25 that can be spent anywhere in the mall.
Individual stores will also offer gift cards as scratch-off prizes. Those stores are J.C. Penney, Kroger, Shoe Sensation, Goody’s, J’s Restaurant, Cali Nails, Bath & Body Works, and Roses.
Ascend Federal Credit Union is offering a gift basket.
As for Santa and his arrival, it will be by horse-drawn carriage at 10 a.m. Friday. Santa will then take his customary spot at center stage of Three Star Mall where he will be available for pictures.
Three Star Mall officials point out the more money you spend at the mall during the holidays, the greater your chances of getting a winning scratch card. Over $3,000 is available on the cards.
For shoppers anxious to get a jump on Black Friday, there will be four stores in the mall open Thanksgiving night. Shoe Sensation, Bath & Body, and Goody’s will all open at 6 p.m. Thanksgiving, while J.C. Penney will open at 8 p.m.
