Disrespecting his mother will cost a young man a year behind bars.The son, Taylor D. Holton, 24, was sentenced by General Sessions Judge Bill Locke to serve an 11-month, 29-day sentence on charges of domestic assault and violation of probation.The man’s mother said it all started when he returned home from work and demanded she make him something to eat.“When I told him there was no food in the house he became angered and attempted to turn over the refrigerator,” the mother recalled in the warrant against her son.She told the judicial commissioner who signed the warrant that her son began acting in such an aggressive manner that she fled from the house. She said her son then chased and cursed her as she ran away.
