Tracy and Sheila Holland have a Christmas light display that can give Clark Griswold’s lights a run for their money. The Hollands’ lights are synchronized to music and attract many people their home at 264 Beacon Drive.
The Hollands have a sign in their yard asking everyone to tune their radio to FM station 89.9.
Sheila saw a music synchronized light show on TV a few years ago and asked her husband if he could create a similar one in their yard.
“I Googled it and studied how to do it. I watched hundreds and hundreds of videos on YouTube. I have a radio transmitter that transmits on the FM station 89.9 frequency,” said Tracy.
“Some songs are easier to program than others. I spend about an hour programming eight to ten seconds of music and lights,” he said.
The Hollands have five songs that play for their light show which lasts around 12 to 15 minutes.
“This show is for everyone. I just want everyone to enjoy it,” said Tracy.
The lights are on from 5 to 9:30 p.m. through the week, and from 5 to 10:30 p.m. on weekends. Tracy said the lights will be up until the new year.
