Myrtle Beach, S.C., resident and Grundy County native Hardie Preston Nunley, 60, died July 13 at his home.
A retired U.S. Air Force veteran serving from 1971-91, he was the son of Henry Howard and Mary Frances Baker Nunley.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Pon Nunley; daughter, Kimberly Newman; and son, Patrick Nunley, both of Omaha, Neb.; five grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bruce and Sherry Nunley of McMinnville, Russell and Cathy Nunley of Gruetli; several nieces, nephews and cousins, and mother-in-law, Yai of Myrtle Beach.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at New Life Church in Altamont.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
