A man who threatened his 95-year-old grandmother with a shotgun and then raged inside the cage of the arresting deputy’s car has been released on probation on time served. The man, Elijah Luke Greene, 32, was ordered by General Sessions Judge Bill Locke to undergo a mental health evaluation as part of his sentence. He will be placed on probation for one year after he entered guilty pleas on charges of reckless endangerment and vandalism.Lawmen are unsure what caused Greene to suddenly start cussing his mother and grandmother when he awoke.“He started picking up things and throwing them at us,” his mother said in the warrant on her son. “He then got up and went outside and got a shotgun and started demanding to be let back in and was threatening to kill everyone in the house.”The mother said her son started hitting the front door with the shotgun and broke out the front window, letting himself back into the house.
