Graves sentenced to 240 days for variety of drug, theft charges

A man who left a bag of pills in plain view inside his vehicle for police to find will serve 240 days behind bars.The suspect, Bobby Ray Graves Jr., 30, entered guilty pleas before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to a host of charges including promoting the manufacture of meth, grand theft, misdemeanor theft and possession of drugs.He was directed to serve 240 days of a six-year sentence and pay $2,000 plus costs. His sentence will be served in addition to time he receives in General Sessions Court where he faces unrelated charges.Graves was arrested after police arrived at his house on Patterson Street to investigate a domestic call. After breaking up the disturbance, police noticed Graves was acting nervous.
