A mother and grandmother have been indicted for maintaining a meth lab across the street from Bobby Ray Elementary in the same house where a 1-year-old child was being raised.
The baby’s mother Casey France, 19, and her mother Tammy France, 40, were indicted on charges of promoting the manufacture of meth, child abuse under the age of 8, and possession of meth for resale in a school zone. The fact the alleged meth lab was found in their house located next to the school on Towles Avenue makes the offense a higher felony. Officers raided the house late last year and found numerous items used in the production of meth.
