A 2-year-old child was seriously injured Friday afternoon when her mother accidentally backed over her with her car.The injured child, Serenity Grace King, was airlifted by LifeForce helicopter to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga for treatment of injuries she received in the late Friday afternoon accident which happened in the family’s driveway on Warren County Park Road near Rock Island State Park.According to preliminary reports, the child’s mother, Sherrie Goodwin, had plans to go to the store. She got in her 2000 Dodge Intrepid and began backing out of the driveway. However, unknown to Goodwin, her daughter had run off the porch as she was backing up and was behind her car leading to the tragic accident.
