Sentences for crimes ranging from theft to domestic assault were handed down Tuesday afternoon by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions Trial Court. Included in court action:• Curtis Frederic Crumb was ordered to serve 60 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, perform 25 hours public service work and undergo a drug and alcohol assessment for theft.• Jeremy Lee Shockley was directed to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence for domestic assault.• Brian L. McCormick was bound to the grand jury on charges of aggravated assault and interference with emergency calls.• Thomas N. Childers was bound to the grand jury on charges of burglary and theft.• Jennifer Fowler was bound to the grand jury on the charge of domestic assault.• Kara Lee Funk was handed an 11-29 probationary sentence and must perform 25 hours public service work and was warned to stay out of Walmart for theft.• Betty Lowayne Bell was granted an 11-29 judicial diversion and must pay $150 plus costs and stay out of JC Penney for shoplifting.• Charles Richard Anderson must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.• Barry Harold Austin was directed to serve 15 days and have his probation extended by six months for violation of probation.• Melissa Ann McClure must serve 30 days and have her probation extended by a year for violation of probation.• Tasche Ramos must serve 48 hours, have probation extended by three months, and undergo a drug and alcohol assessment for violation of probation.
