General Sessions: Arraignment Court

A 34-person docket was heard Tuesday morning by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions arraignment court. Included in the morning session:
• Misty Murphy was directed to serve 30 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence and pay $260 plus costs for possession of marijuana and public intoxication.
• Trey Cole was given an 11-29 sentence, but released on time served for domestic assault. He must attended the battered intervention program and perform 16 hours public service work.
• Miguel Martinez was issued an 11-29 sentence, but released on time served for domestic assault. He must undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and attend anger management classes.
• Karen Welch was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $150 plus costs for possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Jimmy Sain was directed to serve five days of an 11-29 sentence and must make restitution for passing four worthless checks.
• Mable M. Patterson was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence and was warned to stay out of Walmart for shoplifting.
• Eliseo J. Torres must pay $10 plus costs for public intoxication.
• Samuel Hillis must serve 48 hours and undergo an alcohol and drug assessment for violation of probation.
• Jenny Murphy must serve 10 days for violation of probation.
• Robin Morton must serve 10 days and have probation extended by six months for violation of probation.
• Rachel L. White must serve 30 days and have her probation extended by six months for violation of probation.
