General Sessions: Arraignment Court

A 37-person docket was heard Tuesday morning by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions arraignment court. Included in the morning session:• Jason Chapman was ordered to serve 130 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, perform 25 hours public service work and must stay out of Walmart for shoplifting, failure to appear in court, and violation of probation.• Juan A. Reyes was directed to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence and perform 16 hours public service work for domestic assault and underage consumption.• Bryan Cooke was bound to the grand jury on two counts of grand theft.• Carrie Green was bound to the grand jury on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.• Lonnie Richardson was ordered to serve seven days of a six-month sentence, pay $50 plus costs and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a suspended license and failure to appear in court.• Jeremy Rochon must pay $50 plus costs for public intoxication.• Marcus Boren must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.• Kyra King must serve the balance of her sentence for violation of probation.• Kevin Hastings must serve 30 days and have his probation extended by one year for violation of probation.• Martin Regis must serve 10 days for failure to appear in court.• Keith Polson was released on time served and had his probation extended by one year for violation of probation.
