A 23-person docket was heard Tuesday afternoon by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions Trial Court. Included in court action:• Charles Dennis Jr., was ordered to serve an 11-month, 29-day sentence on five counts of shoplifting and must pay $352 in restitution to Walmart and Hastings. His sentence will be served in addition to time he owes for violation of probation.• Joshua Russell was bound to the grand jury on charges of felony theft, evading arrest and fourth-offense driving on a revoked license.• Jonathan Scott was bound to the grand jury on charges of initiating the process to manufacture meth and criminal impersonation.• Jonathan E. Smith was bound to the grand jury on charges of manufacture, delivery or sale of marijuana.• Austin Smithson was directed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, perform 24 hours public service work, pay $75 plus costs, and stay out of Walmart for shoplifting.• Jeth Grissom was given a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $50 plus costs for possession of alcohol under the age of 21.• Jeremy Farley had his probation extended by one year for violation of probation.• Darrell Gurley must serve two days for failure to appear in court.• Alicia Lea must serve the balance of her sentence for violation of probation.• Erica Guindon-Martin must serve 48 hours, perform 16 hours public service work, and have her probation extended by six months for violation of probation.
