A man who ran from deputies when they came to arrest him for violation of probation had 15 days added to his term for his short dash to freedom. The man, Christopher McClure, 32, was ordered by General Sessions Judge Bill Locke to serve 45 days of a total 18-month sentence, pay $50 plus costs and perform 24 hours public service work for evading arrest and violation of probation. His sentence comes after deputies arrived at his Petigap home to arrest him on the outstanding probation warrant.
