Along with being April Fool’s Day, April 1 will also mean something else at Warren County High School – free lunch.As of April 1, Warren County High School will join the rest of the school system in getting free breakfast and lunch, regardless of economic status. All students at the high school are eligible for the free meals.“I think this is great,” said School Board member Bill Zechman after the announcement was made at Thursday’s monthly School Board meeting.All other Warren County Schools have been on the state program since the beginning of the school year. The School Board voted to fund all schools with the exception of the high school this year to see how the program would work.The findings thus far are the program is doing much better than expected.
