Four-lane highway named for Cooper

A dedication ceremony for Sen. Jerry W. Cooper Highway was held Friday with the guest of honor accepting the recognition in humble appreciation.“It’s got my name on it,” said Cooper of the sign. “That’s not right. The people standing here and the people sitting right here, the sign should have all your names on there.
