A woman who was serving a four-day sentence at Warren County Jail could now face serving six years behind bars after she was caught with drugs inside her cell. The woman, Shannon Nicole Evans, 39, along with fellow inmate Jennifer Nicole Bouldin, 40, are both charged with introduction of drugs into a penal institution. They have both been bound to the grand jury.Their charges come after a corrections officer was eyewitness to Evans getting drugs from a hiding place inside her cell. According to Sgt. Jason Walker of the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, Evans was at the jail to serve a four-day stint when the corrections officer caught her red-handed.“The officer observed Shannon Evans lifting her bed mat and getting a plastic bag with a brown substance in it,” Walker recalled.
