First National Bank donated $2,500 to Petey’s Projects for a playground to be built at Hickory Creek Elementary. The playground is designed to meet the needs of special needs students.There are 593 children who have special needs in Warren County with many of those at Hickory Creek. The playground project includes a solid surface for easy access, wheelchair ramps and equipment that is both challenging and fun for all children.Organizers with Petey’s Projects have applied for grants and are receiving donations from local businesses and organizations to help fund the project.Organizer Zach Sutton said, “It is great to see such support from our community and local businesses.
