Main Street Live is relocating to McMinnville Civic Center for its fourth installment of the summer concert series this Friday, July 3. The move will combine music and fireworks.
The McMinnville fireworks display, generously sponsored by Dr Pepper Bottling Company, has been scheduled for July 3 at 9 p.m. Main Street Live, normally held on the West Lawn of Security Federal, is also held on Friday nights.
Main Street McMinnville co-director Brook Holmes says the scheduling presents a perfect opportunity to combine two events and create an extraordinary one. That’s why this week’s Main Street Live has been moved to the Civic Center.
“We’re taking two great events and making one to create an evening filled with music and fireworks,” said Holmes. “It’s going to be an extraordinary event that everyone can enjoy. The fireworks display is being offered on Friday night. I think this is a wonderful opportunity to work together for the enjoyment of the community.”
Performing on the Main Street Live stage will be Joe Harvey, who will offer a Fourth of July blast with his unique blend of classic rock. The stage will be placed in the grass between Gilley Pool and the Civic Center.
Concert start time will remain as usual at 7 p.m.
