A fire that started around midnight Friday completely destroyed a home located across from the main entrance to Warren County Fairgrounds.The home was owned by Roger Lance and located off Fairgrounds Road on the corner of Linkley Street and Kayla Lane. The fire was first reported shortly before midnight and took just minutes to engulf the structure."We're looking at another total loss," said North Warren Fire Chief Matt Welcome.The fire department responded to a house fire in the Wayside community early Wednesday morning that was also a complete loss.Welcome said the Friday night fire by the fairgrounds remains under investigation. He said while Lance was the property owner, he was renting the house to a family who was not at home at the time of the blaze.The house is just outside McMinnville city limits which is why North Warren responded and not city firefighters.
