Pam Minton and her daughter-in-law Kala Adcock enjoyed a brisk fair week under the grandstand. Pam noted Alabama merchandise sells much better than UT items. If you missed them at the fair, they will be at the Civic Center show in November.
If there’s one thing that can be learned in talking to merchants at the fair, it’s UT Vol fans need to step up their game.When it comes to buying team merchandise, Alabama is beating the Vols right here in the heart of Tennessee.“Last year I brought home some Tennessee stuff, but I didn’t bring home anything with Alabama on it,” said Pam Minton who operates Christian Burlap Girls with her daughter-in-law Kala Adcock. “I don’t know anything about the game. I just know what makes me more money and what sells more and that’s Alabama.”Christian Burlap Girls sells bows and personalized ornaments made out of burlap.
