Escapee pays the price
Gay Tim
Timothy Gay got time added to his sentence for escaping from guards outside the courthouse.
A short run from justice will cost an inmate two extra years behind bars for bolting from guards as he was being led into the courthouse. The escapee, Timothy D. Gay, 30, entered guilty pleas before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to charges of aggravated assault, theft, aggravated burglary, and felony escape. He was given a total seven-year sentence for the list of crimes, two of those years being piled on for his escape.
