Another in a string of serious accidents occurred on Old Shelbyville Road Thursday afternoon, leaving one victim seriously injured.The driver of the car, whose name was not available at press-time pending the notification of family, was airlifted from nearby Warren County Memorial Airport by LifeForce helicopter. He remained under treatment at press-time.The accident, which remained under investigation by the Tennessee Highway Patrol as evening fell Thursday, centered around the crash which happened in the curvy stretch of Old Shelbyville Road just a mile outside McMinnville city limit between the intersections of Patton Road and Laws Road. Preliminary reports reveal the driver of the Chevrolet lost control as he was rounding an uphill turn heading toward the city limits.
