Dream Reality Group to present 'Out of This World' show

An intergalactic experience is coming to Warren County. On Aug. 3 and 4, Dream Reality Group is bringing “Out of this World,” an interactive dinner theater experience, to Detention at the Elementary located at 615 School St. in Morrison. Showtimes will be at 3 p.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on both dates, giving viewers 10 opportunities to see the performance. 

Logan Taylor of Dream Reality Group stated the show is space themed, and although there is music and dancing, it is more about the stunts. “We wanted to create a dinner show experience that was professional and people wouldn’t have to drive to the bigger cities to see. We wanted to bring an experience like that to Warren County,” said Taylor. 

Taylor said the production is an original show with an original score and music, and was a group effort from everyone at Dream Reality Group. “I think the music and show is going to be unlike what anyone expects.”

The show will last 45 minutes, and viewers are encouraged to show up early to be seated and be served dinner on time. Viewers are also encouraged to purchase tickets in advance at DRGMcMinnville.com. The ticket cost is $35 and it includes the show, dinner, desert and a drink. Ordering tickets online provides the opportunity to choose your dinner selection. 

Tickets can be purchased at the door, however those who do so will be served a spaghetti dinner by default. “We really encourage everyone to purchase tickets in advance, because we limited the seats to create a more intimate environment,” said Taylor. 

Taylor said he is more than excited to have partnered with Detention at the Elementary and is very grateful for the opportunity. “The show is very interactive. The crowd will get involved. It is an experience that anyone can enjoy,” said Taylor. “I know couples that are going. I know families that are going. I even know some people who are going alone. It really is a show for everyone.”

Prizes during the show will be up for grabs as well, and Taylor said afterward people can go play games at the arcade for more prizes. “I just hope everyone that sees it has a good time, I think this is a show like no other.”
