Decorate lamppost for chance to win $200 prize

The Southern Standard and Main Street McMinnville are organizing an event called Lampposts on Parade, a streetlamp decorating contest in downtown McMinnville. “We’re confident this will add something special to downtown and the holiday season,” said Southern Standard publisher Pat Zechman. Entrants must register at the Standard office and each will be assigned an area to decorate.
