Woman drives Blazer into Center Hill Lake

A 40-year-old woman is dead after reportedly driving her Chevy Blazer into Center Hill Lake in Smithville on purpose.The woman has been identified by DeKalb County Sheriff Patrick Ray as Nancy Randolph, a Putnam County resident.Sources told the Smithville Review the incident, first dispatched at 12:25 p.m. Monday, was no accident. Randolph reportedly drove to the lake with her daughter, Sara Randolph, and her daughter’s boyfriend, Houston Bussell, 21. The passengers said Nancy Randolph drove to the Johnson’s Chapel recreation area and stopped the Blazer at the end of a boat ramp.
