Nicholas Cripps, a 2010 graduate of Warren County High School, graduated from the National Aviation Academy on Aug. 21 in Clearwater, Fla.As a graduate from WCHS and a participant in the JROTC leadership program, Nicholas received awards such as: VFW Military and Academic Excellence, American Legion Award for Military Excellence, Award of Merit from the Military Order of World Wars, Superior Cadet Award, and Medal for Color Guard. Unable to achieve his goal of entering the USAF, Nicholas opted instead to enroll at the National Aviation Academy. He graduated the 3,000-hour program Cum Laude, with a Certificate of Excellence in the Honors Program, the Directors Award for outstanding classroom contributions, high GPA performance and exceptional attendance in both the Aviation Maintenance Technician and Avionics Curriculum Programs.
