Storage solutions for the offices of Circuit Court Clerk Bernie Morris and Clerk and Master Myra Mara are feasible but may be a long time coming.Morris and Mara have met with members of the county’s Building and Grounds Committee to discuss storage options for the many files and records each must keep readily available for anyone who would like to see, such as wills, divorces and court cases. The meeting was held with the hope of finding a solution to the abundance of records – and lack of storage space available at the courthouse. In an earlier Building and Grounds Committee meeting, County Executive John Pelham said records which arrive in their offices today should be scanned and recorded in a computer.
Courthouse storage remains an issue
