The job of finding a temporary replacement to General Sessions Judge Larry Ross will be in the hands of the Warren County Commission on Monday night.Commissioners will make an appointment Monday and that person will be sworn in Tuesday and begin work immediately on handling what is expected to be a full court docket. Thus far, local attorneys Jean Brock, Phillip Clemons, Joshua Crain, Mary Little Pirtle, Bill Locke and Steve Roller have confirmed they will seek the County Commission’s nomination Monday.“I’ve been contacted by all of them and I reckon every commissioner has,” said Commissioner Carl Bouldin when asked about gaining information for the appointment process. “I want to get the right person in there who will do a good job. I feel some of them are very qualified.”Bouldin says he’s yet to make up his mind, a sentiment not shared by Commissioner Charles Morgan.“I’ve talked to all of them by phone or in person and Steve Roller even sent me a letter,” said Morgan.
