County executive tells how citizens can air concerns

A group of residents who wanted to address the Warren County Commission about concerns they have with county Animal Control were denied that chance Monday night.A motion was made to allow the residents to speak and that motion was defeated 16-7 by a full commission vote.The ruling has left several local residents wondering what it takes to have their voices heard by their elected officials. In clarifying the procedure to address the Warren County Commission during its monthly meetings, County Executive Herschel Wells said anyone interested in doing so needs to call his office.“If they want to give me a call and tell me what they have in mind, I can tell if it’s a legitimate concern,” said Wells. “I’m the only one who can put somebody on the docket or recognize them.
