Bill Locke emerged from a field of six nominees to win a tight vote Monday night and become the county’s new General Sessions/ Juvenile Court Judge. Locke was appointed by the Warren County Commission, edging Mary Little Pirtle by a 14-10 margin in the second round of voting. Locke will serve as interim judge until Aug. 31.
