Warren County Commissioners have passed a resolution opposing the closure of the local Driver Testing Center by the state of Tennessee.The county’s Safety Committee met Nov. 2 to consider the resolution in opposition of the state’s plan to close the facility as a way to express the county’s support for maintaining the service in Warren County. At that meeting was state Rep. Kevin Dunlap, who voiced his support for the resolution and his stance against closure.“From the very beginning, I was strongly opposed,” said Dunlap. “I told them this would be a hardship on our community.
