SUNDAY, JULY 29
Kane Ridge gospel bluegrass will be at Northside Baptist Church at 6 p.m.

A gospel meeting will be held at Jericho Church of Christ July 29-31 with different speakers each evening. Sunday classes at 10 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m., Sunday night at 7:30 p.m. and weeknights at 7 p.m.

THURSDAY, AUG. 2
Pre-registration for community Bible study will be held Aug. 2 from 10 a.m. to noon at First United Methodist Church outreach building downtown. Classes begin Sept. 6. A children’s ministry is also available. This year’s study will be Thessalonians, Job, and Mark in 30 lessons.

SUNDAY, AUG. 5
Young Men United will hold a Back to School Bash from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Gilley Pool with free food and school supplies.

Homecoming will be held at Pleasant Hill New Life Missionary Baptist Church with Jackie Matheny and the Soul Seekers. Service begins at 10 a.m.

Open house will be held Aug. 6 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Hickory Creek Elementary. Parent orientation at 5:30 p.m. in the gym and visit classroom teachers from 6 to 7 p.m.

Bobby Ray Elementary will hold open house and early registration from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Aug. 6 and 7:45 to 9:45 a.m., Aug. 7.

Warren County Middle School open house and registration will be held for sixth grade at 6 p.m., Aug. 6, seventh grade at 5 p.m., Aug. 7, and eighth grade 6:30 p.m., Aug. 7. Registration for new students is Aug. 7 from 7:45 to 9:45 a.m. All upcoming seventh-graders bring immunization record.

American Legion Post 173 and Auxiliary will hold its annual picnic and flag retirement ceremony at 5 p.m., Aug. 9 at picnic area one at Rock Island State Park.

Warren County Saddle Club has shows every Friday night at 7 p.m. with classes for quarter and gaited horses. Entry is $5 per horse. Concessions including BBQ available.

Decoration will be held Aug. 11 at McElroy Cemetery and they are seeking history on the cemetery. Call Jackie at 686-3760.

Smokin’ in McMinnville 5K for Autism will be held at 7 p.m., Aug. 11. Registration is available at USA Gym, Civic Center, Chamber of Commerce, Etch Gym, McMinnville Physical Therapy, and the Trustee’s office.
