Ivy Bluff Church of Christ will hold Vacation Bible School May 27-29 with classes for all ages. There will be adult classes too with different speakers each night. Classes begin at 7 p.m.

The annual decoration at Higginbotham Cemetery on Shellsford Road will be held.

Mike’s Chair will be in concert in the Go Extreme building on Morrison Street. Doors open at 6 p.m. and concert at 7 p.m. The event is free.

A Memorial Day ceremony will be held at 7 a.m. at Warren County Memorial Airport.

McMinnville City Hall will be closed for Memorial Day. Monday’s garbage routes will be picked up Tuesday.

The McMinnville Board of Commissioners for McMinnville Housing Authority will meet at 6 p.m. at the Rebel Hill Community Room.

LuckyFest will be held beginning at 3 p.m. There will be a baby through age 19 beauty contest with deadline to enter June 1. Forms may be picked up at Ashley’s Attic, Total Image, Delores’ Market, Perry’s Market, and Northside Market. The finals of the gospel contest will be held that evening.

Decoration will be held June 2 at Brick House/ Rowland Station Cemetery on Hennessee Bridge Road with a business meeting at 11 a.m. and lunch following the meeting. There will be no auction this year but donations are encouraged. For information, call Stanley at 939-2753.

The annual Genesco reunion will be held June 2 at Wayside CIC with registration at 10:30 a.m. Bring food and old photos.

Decoration will be held at Banks Cemetery in DeKalb County on June 3. Banks Cumberland Presbyterian Church will also have its homecoming day with lunch at noon. Donations for upkeep of the cemetery may be sent to Robert Joines, Treasurer, 846 Luttrell Avenue, Smithville, TN 37166.

The Warren County Democratic Party will hold its regular meeting at 6 p.m. June 4 at the VFW.

Boyd Christian School will have a garage and rummage sale from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., June 8-9. Vendor space is available by contacting the school.

The second annual Faithapolooza will be held June 9 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Covenant Fellowship Church on Manchester Highway. The event is free. The family alternative to Bonnaroo will feature singing, motivational speakers, and fun for all ages. Bring a lawnchair.

Decoration will be held at Grange Hall Cemetery on June 9 with Bingo at 10 a.m. and concessions. Business meeting at 1 p.m. along with entertainment and auction.
