Gospel singer Tony Gore will sing at Charles Creek Baptist Church during the 11 a.m. service.

Homecoming will be held at First Free Will Baptist Church off Red Road with singing by Heartsong.

The annual Cantrell reunion for descendants of Elder Felix and Mary Luna Cantrell will be held at Wayside CIC. Bring a covered dish for noon meal.

The Will Jones and Ocie Goodson Jones reunion will be held at Midway CIC from noon to 4 p.m. Bring a covered dish and pictures.

Homecoming will be held at West Riverside Church of God of Prophecy on Old Morrison Road at 2 p.m. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m.

MONDAY, JUNE 27
Vacation Bible School will be held at McMinnville Seventh-Day Adventist Church on Bluff Springs Road June 27-30 from 6 to 8 p.m. Those under age 4 should be accompanied by an adult.

TUESDAY, JUNE 28
The youth group at McMinnville First United Methodist Church will present After the Storm – A Night of Music to raise funds to help those affected by the recent storms. The event will be held at 7 p.m. at the church and will feature several musical groups such as The Company I Keep and The Good Noise Band.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 29
A free concert with the Air National Guard Band will be held at 6 p.m. at Warren County High School Auditorium.

SATURDAY, JULY 2

A hamburger lunch will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at Centertown United Methodist Church on West Green Hill Road. All you can eat for $5. Proceeds go toward a mission trip to New Mexico.

A presentation of The American Heritage DVD Series by David Barton will be held at Central Church of Christ fellowship hall every Thursday in July and August at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. The events are free. Park at the Spring Street parking lot.

Relief assistance is being planned for McMinnville’s Sister City in Japan, Mikawa, which has been designated as a refugee city for those displaced by the earthquake. Donations will be accepted at any branch of Security Federal.
