Moose Lodge will hold its annual summer cookout and dance at 6 p.m. with Southern Breeze performing at 8 p.m. Cost is $5 per person.

Gospel singer Tony Gore will sing at Charles Creek Baptist Church during the 11 a.m. service.
Homecoming will be held at First Free Will Baptist Church off Red Road with singing by Heartsong.
The annual Cantrell reunion for descendants of Elder Felix and Mary Luna Cantrell will be held at Wayside CIC. Bring a covered dish for noon meal.
The youth group of McMinnville First United Methodist Church will present a concert at 7 p.m. June 28 in the church sanctuary with The Company I Keep and The Good Noise Band. The purpose is to raise funds to support those areas in our country that were devastated by the effects of recent storms. There is no admission fee, but donations will be accepted. In addition, The Company I Keep will be offering for sale its newly released CD “Hot August Nights.” All donations and the total price of CD sales will be presented directly to the United Methodist Committee on Relief.
Relief assistance is being planned for McMinnville’s Sister City in Japan, Mikawa, which has been designated as a refugee city for those displaced by the earthquake. Donations will be accepted at any branch of Security Federal.
