The Mt. Zion Baptist Church will be holding a brush arbor meeting on B Mine Road, which is located in the Flat Branch Community of Tracy City. The meeting will be held Sept. 5-9 at 6:30 nightly.

Westwood Church of Christ will hold a clothing give away from 8 to 10 a.m.
The Democratic Party will meet at 6 p.m. at the VFW Post Home. Guest speaker is election administrator Donna Smith.
WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 7
Grace Temple will be holding a special concert featuring Grammy nominated group After Edmund at the Go Extreme building next to the church at 2100 Morrison Street near the bridge. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the concert starts at 7 p.m. Food will be provided. The public is invited and there is no charge, but a love offering will be taken for the group.
WCHS is holding its annual College Fair at McMinnville Civic Center from 5 to 7 p.m. Representatives from an estimated 40 colleges, universities, trade schools and the military will be in attendance.
THURSDAY, SEPT. 8
East End Church of Christ will hold a clothing give away from 9 a.m. until noon.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 10
First Baptist Church will simulcast Travis Cottrell and Beth Moore from 9:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. with doors opening at 8 a.m. Cost is $25 and $5 for young ladies with lunch provided. For more information on the women’s event call 808-7104.
