Mark Twain Clemens is formally announcing his candidacy for U.S. Senate. He is a Bedford County resident who is challenging U.S. Sen. Bob Corker in the 2012 GOP Primary.Clemens was in Warren County last week handing out flyers announcing his intention to run in order to relieve the weight of debt on the nation’s economy with tough decisions and hard work.“I believe I’m the only one who is running for federal service of the people who has identified the problem and cause that is crippling our economy and way of life, and I have a working solution,” said Clemens.As a “quick patch” to the country’s economic problem, Clemens wants to bring the military home. “We have accomplished what we set out to do.
