Area students are finishing up another year of school and are counting down the days until summer. Some Warren County High School students are counting down the days until they get to take a bunny or a guinea pig home with them for the summer.Students in Kim Miller’s Small Animal Care class will get the opportunity to foster one of the animals from the classroom for the summer. Among the animals being fostered for the summer are several rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, cockatiels, parakeets, snakes, frogs, anoles and a chinchilla.“The students in this class learn general care of small animals which includes clipping toenails, what type and how much food to feed them and when and how to change their bedding.
