McMinnville officials received their first look at Park Theater renovation phase two, the balcony, on Tuesday night. The cost estimate is $61,634.According to a presentation by AEI Architects, Engineers and Planners president Peter Metts to members of the city’s Parks and Recreation Committee, an adjustment must be made to the guardrail in order to bring it to code compliance. Consideration was originally given to using plexiglass, rather than a bar, because a bar might require individuals sitting in the first row or two to look under it or over it.
